DROID HUNT 2010
Attendees can look forward to becoming a rebel sympathizer on the run from Imperial Stormtroopers, as part of the 501st Legions "Droid Hunt".
You have come into possession of a seemingly innocent droid. Little did you know it might be harboring data valuable to the Rebellion. Imperial Troops have been stationed at Chronicles: The Risen to search for Rebel Sympathizers. It's up to you to safeguard your droid, but how long before the Empire catches up with you?
- Wear your Droid Badge prominently on your lanyard all day Sat March 13th. Make no efforts to either hide it nor have it discovered. Let the Stormtroopers find it on their own!
- If a Stormtrooper, Bounty Hunter, or other Imperial personnel approaches you in full costume anytime between 10:00AM and 6:00PM and delivers the line "How long have you had these droids?" you must surrender your badgeto them.
- When giving up you Droid Badge, make sure the Imperials give you a raffle ticket. The 70th Explorers/149th War Wolves will raffle off prizes to Droid Hunt participants as a "Thank You" for playing along. Ask for the winners list on SUNDAY at the 501st Legion table to claim your prizes. Prizes not collected at the time of table closing are forfeited. Raffle ticket holders will receive a complimentary copy of a Droid Badge while supplies last.
- During the game some random participants will be given a special Jedi Mind Trick card which, when presented to the troopers will allow you to keep your Droid Badge and extend your gameplay. Each Jedi Mind Trick card can only be used once, and must be surrendered when used.
- Remember, this is a fun way to recreate the suspense of Imperial Stormtroopers policing the galaxy. Feel free to act "in character" when dealing with the troopers and have fun with your role as a Rebel Sympathizer! The 70th Explorers Garrison and 149th War Wolves thank you for playing along and making this a memorial event. May the Force Be With You, Rebel Scum!!!
